Celebrating Disability Pride

To celebrate Disability Pride Month and the 34th anniversary of the ADA, on Wed. July 17th at 7:00pm Understanding Our Differences, the Newton Commission on Disability, and the Newton Free Library are pleased to host a moderated panel of local speakers with disabilities who will explore the question, “What does disability pride mean to you?”, followed by Q&A and discussion with the audience. Also featured will be a video montage of clips addressing the question, submitted by people with disabilities. Doors to Druker Auditorium at the library open at 6:30pm for information sharing and informal conversation. All are welcome.
